Outwitting Your Adversaries Pt 1

One of the grand lessons from natures schoolroom, is to never let down your guard. There are many predators lurking just outside the range of your natural vision, who would carefully plot your destruction.
In this age of apathy far too many have cast off restraint. In doing so, they fail to take a stand, almost certainly encouraging defeat rather than success. They carelessly saunter into the enemy’s territory, inviting destruction. Then they lift their complaint and cry aloud, how could this have happened to me?
If we believe that God indeed speaks through the things that He has made, and that wisdom is hidden in the very works of His hands, then we must truly admire the great Blue Heron. He is not caught in the throes of this age of apathy and complacency, and his sheer presence communicates volumes on living life on the highest possible plain.
Peering into natures classroom, there he is, standing like a lonely sentry, statuesque in appearance. He reminds you of one of those royal guards, standing at attention in front of the palace entrance. He is ever on alert, and the slightest movement catches his wary eye.
His diligence and alertness earn him the reputation of being able to overcome the most difficult obstacles in life. He literally outwits his adversaries and ascends upwards to success, while his pursuers busy themselves in wonderment at his ability to elude them once again.
What obstacles are you presently facing that appear to be insurmountable? When facing approaching conflicts, do you get bogged down in the mire of things present? Does the very nature of your difficulty ignite in you a fresh resolve to press through? Can you match wits with your adversary and make those masterful moves that will assure victory? In God’s classroom, these are questions that we must constantly face with every new challenge.
