When Faith Is Shaken

I did not find it natural to walk in the supernatural. When I acknowledged that God’s love was revealed through Jesus Christ, both in His life and death, I stepped into the supernatural. This was way over my head, and when I read in the Bible that God requires faith to please Him, I was equally mystified.
Hebrews 11:6 “And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.”
God was telling me to believe in what I could not fully visualize. As I journeyed along this path, I noted that my challenging and changing circumstances were telling me He intervenes when He determines it’s in my best interest. Many were my frustrating moments, believing He was ignoring me, or rather afflicting me without sufficient cause.
Looking back, I now recognize the wisdom of my Heavenly Father. Without His correction and guidance along the way, my life would have ended with me taking the low road, instead of the high road of faith.
My faith, as shaken as it was at times, enabled me to believe God for what seemed impossible. When I founded a church in the midst of Silicon Valley, without outside assistance, or having ever been in the area before, I was experiencing what it was to have faith beyond myself.
He is the GOD of the impossible, and REWARDER of those who seek Him.
