I'm Losing My Grip

It is unfortunate that so few Christians understand that the real battle we face is not mere flesh and blood. We struggle from within and without, attempting to overcome the world, the flesh, and the devil. We utilize all the energy we have at our disposal, and It doesn’t work! Why?

“For though we walk in the flesh, we are not waging war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds.” 2 Corinthians 10:3-4

This battle cannot be won with human resources and clever arguments. It must be fought with divine power. The devil is quite effective in establishing strongholds in our lives. Our real danger is thinking we can confront these strongholds in our own strength. 

The weapons we use are not of the flesh. God gives us weapons that are equipped with supernatural power, and when employed they can destroy these strongholds. 

We must take hold of God and not let go. If I hold onto anything else, I will eventually lose my grip.
