God's Timing, Not Ours

This verse stood out this morning:
2 Corinthians 6:2 NLT
For God says, "At just the right time, I heard you. On the day of salvation, I helped you." Indeed, the "right time" is now. Today is the day of salvation.
It tells me my salvation was no accident, “…at just the right time I heard you.” It is always just the right time with my Father. I don’t always like His timing. My impatience gets the best of me, and my impatience has cost me unnecessary pain over the years. I am grateful that He is a good Father, for He understands me and still delights in me. He knows I am imperfect. He also knows what I know deep within my soul, that I can’t do anything of worth without Him.
Therefore, I need to live each day with this thought. “Indeed the “right time” is now. Today is the day of salvation.”
I need to live each day in God’s now.
